About Eirini Damianidou

Eirini Damianidou is a Greek choreographer, performer and movement director whose work moves between street dance, contemporary movement and theatrical expression. Based in Athens and active across Europe, she has developed a distinctive choreographic voice shaped by rhythm, musicality and the emotional architecture of the body. Specializing in waacking, she merges street dance lineage with dramaturgy and performance research.

She has collaborated with major artists, cultural institutions and festivals, serving as the official choreographer and movement director for Marina Satti (2021–2025), and contributing to large-scale performances including Eurovision, international tours, fashion productions and high-profile music videos.

Eirini is the founder and artistic director of the international festival Follow the Waack, and continues to teach across Europe in universities, studios and professional training programs.
Her artistic practice explores identity, tension, rhythm and physical storytelling, expanding waacking beyond its competitive roots and into new performative landscapes.
